AUBURN — During the eve of Tuesday, March 14, at 1:05 a.m., Helene C. Rodrigue of Lewiston passed away at Clover Manor Health Care Facility in Auburn.

She was the daughter of Gaudais and Justine (Nolet) Bourgault of Lewiston. Helene loved dancing and hanging out with Lillian and her girlfriends and also being with the love of her life for more than 30 years, Jim McLellan, who passed away Oct. 20, 2013.

Helene loved playing cards with friends and family. She worked hard in shoe shops. Her struggles are over and now she is with her sister, brother and parents.

She is survived by her daughters, Joan Rodrigue-Tuel of Leeds, Gail Rodrigue-Dubois of Lewiston and her son, Nelson Rodrigue of California; her grandchildren, Steven McIver, Traci Dubois-Beaulieu, Travis Dubois, Troy Dubois and Trent Dubois; great-grandchildren, Rebecca Biron, Tasha McIver, Devin Grover, Daytona McIver and Dakota McIver; great-great-grandchildren, Dominic Biron, Madyson Cooper and Camden Scarlett.

She was predeceased by a great-great-grandchild, Damien Biron, who was born Nov. 18, 2016, and who passed away Jan. 24, 2017.

On Helene’s behalf, the family wishes to thank Clover Manor for taking good care of her and for their dedication and compassion.
