LEWISTON – A Funeral Mass was celebrated for Robert J. Pomerleau on Tuesday, Aug. 23, at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul, following prayers at the Pinette Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Robert Lariviere celebrated the Mass and recited committal prayers at St. Peter’s Cemetery. Military honors from the U.S. Army played taps and presented the American flag to Mr. Pomerleau’s wife, Irene. The pallbearers were Matt Hamilton, Michael Harris, Michael Bernard, Zackery Pomerleau, Jayson Bryant, Ryan Beaulieu and Michael Brown.
