NORWAY — Frederick L. Washer Jr., 49, of Norway passed away Tuesday, March 21, at his residence with his loving family at his side.
Fred was born in Framingham, Mass., on June 4, 1967, a son of Frederick L. and Nancy L. (Dexter) Washer Sr.
He graduated from Oxford Hills High School in 1986 and for most of his life, Fred worked in construction.
He was a member of the Grace Fellowship Church in Oxford, and the Carpenters Union. Fred loved riding his motorcycle, and as an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking, snowmobiling and golf.
He lived in Maine his entire life and married Sandra Blaquiere on Sept. 8, 2012.
He leaves behind his wife, Sandy, of Norway; his mother of New Portland; his son, Milo Washer, of South Paris; his daughter, Brooke Washer, of Norway; a brother, Andy Washer, of Lewiston; a sister, Judy Allen, of North Carolina; and a grandson, Madix Washer.
Fred is predeceased by his father; and a sister, Beverly Smedberg.
