WILTON — Nomination papers for open seats on the Board of Selectpersons and a seat on the Regional School Unit 9 board of directors are due by 5 p.m. Friday, March 31, at the Town Office.
Two selectperson seats are available, but only one person has filed nomination papers, Town Clerk Diane Dunham said. No one has filed papers for the other seat.
One person has filed nomination papers for the school board seat, she said.
Selectpersons John Black and Jeff Rowe, whose terms expire in June, are not seeking re-election, nor is RSU 9 school board Director Keith Swett, Dunham said.
Polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. May 16 at the Town Office. The annual town meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. May 22 at Academy Hill School.
