NORWAY – Ellen H. Keene, 85, of West Poland, died Thursday, July 21, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Poland on Oct. 4, 1919, the daughter of Edwin and Elvira Martin Farr. She was educated in Poland schools and graduated from Mechanic Falls High School.

She married Donald K. Keene and had been a homemaker all of her life.

She is survived by her husband of West Poland; two sons, Vance and his wife, Joan, of Brunswick, and Donald K. Jr. of Old Orchard Beach; a brother, Arnold Farr and his companion, Priscilla Crosby, of Norway; two sisters, Olive Cole of West Poland, and Christine Hanscom of Bethel; five grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Martin Farr and Leland Farr; and a sister, Wynona Krason.
