Darby Sabin will perform at first Music in the Park event from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, June 24, at the French Falls Recreation Field, 28 French Falls Lane in Jay. Sabin, a freshman at Suffolk University, is a rock and blues-based singer with a few surprises thrown in. She has performed at Disney World and around the country, including Hawaii; has auditioned for “The Voice” TV show and has played locally at the Wilton Blueberry Festival. This is a free concert sponsored the Jay Recreation Committee. Free, but donations are welcome. People are asked to bring their own chairs or blanket for seating.
