AUBURN — Lewis D. Newcomb, 93, of Poland, passed away Friday morning, June 23, in Auburn.
He was born in Pownal on Jan. 25, 1924, to parents John and Mildred Ward Newcomb.
Lewis was an avid sports fan and musician.
He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Faye Small Newcomb; his children, Shirley Tridwell of Rumford, Diane Ryerson of Topsham, Lorraine Smith of Farmington and Kathy Newcomb of Farmington; and stepchildren, Sally Omer of Poland and William Witham of Oxford.
