DEAR SUN SPOTS: Regarding the folks who might need the leftover yard sale items taken away, I did just that a few years ago.  I contacted Norm Blais.

He has Tommy’s Feral Felines and occasionally will run yard sales in order to raise money for the feral cats that he feeds and takes care of.  He does wonderful work for these feral felines.

I have an address of normblais39@yahoo.com unless it has changed.

Hopefully this could be helpful to the folks of the yard sale and also for Tommy’s Feral Felines.

On another note, thank you for contacting the correct people in order to correct the problem with the traffic light in New Auburn. Your column is so, so helpful. Thank you again.

ANSWER: This is a terrific idea. Norm Blais, who lives in Greene, is constantly raising money to help feral cats by holding bottles drives and yard sales. And, he’s always happy to pick up donations.

In addition to the email Carol provided, he has another address: normblais@yahoo.com. You can also reach him at 207-240-8767.

If anyone else knows of someone who may be willing to pick up yard sale leftovers, please write and let us know.
