RUMFORD — Nate Goodine had it going on the mound for Franklin County in a 7-0 victory over River Valley. Goodine struck out 10 while allowing two hits and had three hit batters.
Franklin County’s (5-10) offense got going in the top of the first and second innings. Alex Philbrick had an RBI double in the second. He had two hits and two RBIs in the contest.
Franklin County scored three more times in the fifth inning. Ryan Pratt and Tom Wing also had two hits in the contest.
Cam Godbois had a double for River Valley (3-12).
