LEWISTON – Lewis Bernard Martin, 54, of Poland, died Thursday, June 16, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

He was born on Sept. 16, 1950, the son of Bernard and Elizabeth Whitter Martin. He lived in Maine all of his life. He attended schools in Hebron and Buckfield.

He had been a truckdriver before becoming disabled.

He had a love for the outdoors, hunting, camping, birds and flowers, especially his two cats, Mittens and Baby.

He is survived by his wife, Dian, of Poland; his children, Joe and Elaine of Lewiston, Chris, Billie and Amanda, all of Norway; two grandchildren, Kiana and Daniel; brothers and sisters, David Martin of Pittston, Orrin and Elaine Martin of South Carolina, Francis and Maryanne Martin of Poland, and Sheila Martin of Connecticut.

He was predeceased by his parents.
