ORANGE CITY, Fla. — Elroy “Roy” Charles Heath Jr., 79, died Friday, May 5, at Halifax Hospice Care Center, Orange City, Fla., surrounded by family.
Mr. Heath is survived by his wife of 60 years, Shirley Heath; his three daughters, Celeste Heath and her husband, Ed Barks, Lisa Fisher and her husband, Jonathan, Yvonne Levesque and her husband, Al; his five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Converse Heath; and his son, Elroy “Charlie” Heath III.
Born in Barre, Vt., and raised in Canton, Mr. Heath was a graduate of Canton High School. He served 23 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 1978. He continued his career at Sprague Electric in Sanford and Maronda Homes in Sanford, Fla.
