PARIS — An entry that appeared in an Oxford County Superior Court log published on Page C12 on July 8 should have reported that in December, the Maine Supreme Judicial Court vacated two convictions of unlawful sexual contact against David Hanscom, 65, of Mason Township. The charges were dismissed in May as part of a plea deal, with Hanscom pleading no contest to an assault charge. He was sentenced to one year, with all time suspended, and one year of probation. The information was incorrectly provided to the Sun Journal by the court.
