LEWISTON — Ronald A. Bureau, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 1, at the age of 73 at Clover Health Care in Auburn.
He was born Dec. 30, 1943, to Noel and Annette Durocher Bureau. On July 31, 1965, he married the love of his life, Pauline LaBonte. They settled in Auburn and raised their two daughters. Ron retired from VIP in 2012.
His greatest pleasure later in life was his two grandchildren and his grandpuppy, Roxy. Ron loved to dote on them and they would play games for hours.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Pauline Bureau; daughters, Karen Plourde and husband, Michael, and Lisa Bureau; grandchildren, Megan Janosco and husband, Matthew, and Derek Plourde; and his sister, Claudette Marcoux and husband, Normand.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Clare Place at Clover Manor.
