AUBURN — Jeanne Anne Keene, 75, of 38 Newbury St., Auburn, died peacefully in her sleep and went home to be with her Savior on Sunday, July 30, with her family surrounding her bedside.
Jeanne was born to Lionel and Eveline Beaulieu on Dec. 20, 1941. She grew up and was educated in Auburn and married Harold Keene in 1958. Together they raised 10 children. Jeanne was a homemaker all her life and her greatest assets call her mom or grammie. She was a faithful member of Marston’s Corner Baptist Church. She was known as our “Superwoman” because she fought a long, hard battle of illness beginning at birth.
Jeanne is survived by nine children, Mary Crane, Randy Keene, Theresa Meserve, Donald Keene, Linda Blais, Jimmy Keene, Susan Bressler, Ronald Keene Sr., and Danny Keene; 18 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and numerous stepchildren. Jeanne is also survived by her siblings, Gerald Beaulieu, Roland Beaulieu, Joan Warner and Raymond Beaulieu.
She is predeceased by her parents; her husband; and son, David.
