OXFORD — There will be a Heartsaver CPR and First Aid class at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, at the Oxford Advent Christian Church, 1130 Main St.
Students will learn basic first aid; adult, child and infant CPR; and how to properly use a defibrillator.
On completion of the one-day class, students will receive a two-year certification in accordance with the American Heart Association. This certificate course is accepted for day/child care providers, loggers, guides, teachers and any other non-health care related professions.
Students should call to confirm the date. Groups may also request to schedule a class at their convenience.
Health care basic life support CPR recertifications are done as needed one-on-one.
