LEWISTON — Alphee V. Thibodeau, 87, of Lewiston, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, August 19, 2017 with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Caribou, Maine on July 4, 1930, the son of the late Patrick Xavier and Edith (Levasseur) Thibodeau.
Alphee was married for 64 years to the love of his life, Doris Lagrange. He retired from the Lewiston Public Works, where he had a passion for operating heavy machinery.
For many years, he and his wife enjoyed being on a bowling league, dining out, playing cards, dancing and many trips to Colorado.
He is survived by his grandson, Jason Thibodeau; his sisters, Bernice Gauthier, Omerine Case and her husband, Ken.
He was predeceased by his wife; his son, Guston; grandson, Daniel; sisters, Cecile, Leona, Estelle, Josephine and Sylvia; and a brother, Armand.
He will always be remembered for his special smile, his caring heart and his warm embrace.
