WILTON – Funeral services for Mr. Joudrey were held Saturday evening at the Wiles Remembrance Center, Wilton, with the Rev. Roger Chabot of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church officiating.

Special music included “How Great Thou Art” and “Ave Maria.” The Frank L. Mitchell VFW Post 3335 and the Lane Dube AMVETS Post 33, both of Jay, performed full military honors. The ritual was presided over by Don LeSuer, John Dube, Greg MacDonald, Sheila Weed and Betty Houle. The firing squad members were Cleon Cook, Dick Moreau, Richard Dupont, Roland Giguere, Raoul LaPlante and David O. Smith. The honor guard members were Harvey Sabin, Bill Guinard, Neree Simoneau, Bob Welch, Roland Therrien and Wally Tripp. John Dube and Don LeSuer presented the flag to his family. The flag will be donated to Dirigo High School in memory of his grandson, Jesse Harding.

The service concluded with the ritual by the Wilton Masonic Lodge 156 under the direction of lodge master, Peter Benson. Cremation was at Gracelawn Memorial Park, Auburn. Private family committal services will take place at Lakeview Cemetery, Wilton.
