LEWISTON – A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday for the Rev. Richard E. St. Cyr at Holy Cross Church under the direction of The Fortin Group Funeral Home and Cremation Services. The Most Reverend Richard Malone, Bishop of Portland, was the principal celebrant, assisted by the Revs. Daniel Greenleaf, Lionel Chouinard, Roger Ouellette, Andrew Dubois, Daniel Sullivan, John Brisbane and Monsignor Marc Caron. A large delegation of priests from throughout the Diocese of Portland attended as well as a delegation of sisters from the Notre Dame du St. Rosaire Congregation and the Presentation of Mary. The honor guard was provided by the Knights of Columbus. Committal was held at St. Peter’s Cemetery with Bishop Malone and Rev. Lionel Chouinard officiating. Pallbearers were Joseph McGovern, Donald Morin, Leo Ouellette, Francis Brooks, Gerard Morin and Raymond Perreault, all members of the Knights of Columbus.
