FARMINGTON – Marilyn E. Berry, 72, of 72 Seavey Road, Industry, died Tuesday, March 15, at Franklin Memorial Hospital following a long illness.

She was born in Norway, on Feb. 13, 1933, the daughter of Elmo D. and Pauline (Wittemore) McGray.

She was educated in Oxford schools and was employed for many years in the shoe industry until her retirement. She enjoyed watching cartoons.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Berry, of Norway; two sons, Albert C. Smith Jr. “AJ” and his wife, Lorraine, of South Paris, and Donald W. Smith and his wife, Nancy J., of Oxford; two brothers, Ernest McGray and his wife, Juanita, of Oxford, and Lawrence McDonald of Lewiston; two sisters, Jean Phelps, of Industry, and Terry Wakefield and her husband, Keith, of Oxford; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
