LEWISTON – Anita C.I. Woodcock, 62, a resident of Jenkins St., died Wednesday afternoon, Feb. 23, at Central Maine Medical Center, with her family at her side.

She was born in Lewiston, April 13, 1942, the daughter of Frederick and Claire C. (Bolduc) Maheux. She was educated in the grammar schools of Lewiston and was a 1961 graduate of Lewiston High School.

On Feb. 9, 1963, she married Frederick C. Woodcock III, in Lewiston. Mrs. Woodcock was employed for several years as an accounts receivable clerk at Maine Oxy, and more recently for Tri-Country Mental Health as an accounts receivable clerk.

Mrs. Woodcock attended both the Vineyard Christian Fellowship and SS. Peter and Paul Churches of Lewiston.

Anita enjoyed the interests of knitting, snowmobiling, kayaking and reading, but most of all lived to spend time with her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years of Lewiston; her mother of Lewiston; two sons, Frederick C. Woodcock IV and his wife, Kelly, of Wales, and Scott B. Woodcock and his wife, Lana, of Portsmouth, N.H.; one brother, Frederick N. Maheux of Brattleboro, Vt.; three grandchildren, Ashley J. and Emily K. Woodcock of Wales, and Nastasya L. Woodcock of Portsmouth, N.H.; and nieces and nephews as well.

She was predeceased by her sister, Muriel D. Maheux, and her father.
