MANCHESTER, N.H. – Richard W. Berube, 64, of Manchester, N.H., died Tuesday Feb. 22, at his home.
He was born in Lewiston, on Nov. 9, 1940, a son of the late Wilfred and Rita (Jarvis) Berube Jr. He had resided briefly in Manchester, formerly living in Hooksett, N.H., and Maine. He served with the United States Air Force after the Korean Conflict, and was employed as a distribution warehouse manager for Colonial Candle in Plymouth, Mass., for more than 20 years. He was a devoted father and grandfather, and enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughter, Katheryn N. Merrow and her husband, James, of Manchester, N.H.; his son, Richard W. Berube and his wife, Kim, of Orleans, Mass.; three grandchildren, Taylor and Abby Merrow, and Lucas Berube; and two brothers, Normand Berube of Florida, Gerard Berube of Michigan, and his companion, Sandra Schofield, of Plymouth, Mass.
