RUMFORD – Yvette Marie Breau, 81, of 48 Kimball Ave., Mexico, passed away, with her family by her side at Rumford Community Hospital on Jan. 31.
She was born in Rumford, on Jan. 30, 1924, the daughter of Philip and Jennie (Perry) Gaudet. She attended Mexico schools and was a communicant of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Mexico.
She was a devoted wife and mother of six children. Her family was her life. She enjoyed people and always made visitors feel very welcome in her home. She enjoyed cooking, sewing and knitting.
She is survived by her devoted and loving husband of 62 years, James Breau; three daughters, Jean Boudreau and her husband, Ernest, of Roxbury, Judy Kennedy and her husband, Donald, of Roxbury, and Janice Sirois and her husband, Marc, of Lewiston; a son, Reginald, and his wife, Holly, of Rumford; a sister, Edna Aleck, of Mexico; grandchildren, Debra Boudreau, Donna Boudreau, Dean Boudreau and his wife, Kristal, Craig Gurney, Eric Pomerleau and James Breau; and one great-grandchild, Devorae.
She was predeceased by her parents; two sons, Roger and Ronald; and two brothers, Lionel and Francis Gaudet.
