TURNER — H. Elaine Parlin, 60, a resident of Turner, passed away, Tuesday, Sept. 19, at her home.
She was born January 5, 1957 in Malden, Mass., the daughter of Robert A. Shelton and Helen M. (Hiltz) Shelton. She graduated from Reading High School in Massachusetts. On January 10, 1998, in Lewiston, she married Ivan “Buddy” Parlin. Together they owned and operated Novus Windshield Repair in North Turner, receiving many awards. “Buddy” passed away in 2011.
Elaine was a member and a Deacon of the North Turner Union Presbyterian Church.
She is survived by her mother, Helen M. Shelton of Auburn; her sister Dianna J. Carr and husband Robert of Lewiston; and brothers; Robert A. Shelton Jr. of Auburn and David E. Shelton and wife Brenda of Oxford.
She was predeceased by her father, Robert A Shelton; and her husband Ivan “Buddy” Parlin.
