LEWISTON – Candace Ellen (Beesley) Jameson, 22, went home to be with her Savior Jesus Christ on Jan. 10.
She was born on April 27, 1982 in Westbrook, to loving parents Walter Bert and Helen Marie (Carr) Beesley.
She grew up in Winthrop, graduating from Winthrop High School in 2000. She also graduated from the University of Maine in Farmington in 2004.
She was a young woman of many dreams and aspirations. Her dreams included becoming a real estate photographer, a lawyer for the underprivileged, and opening an orphanage. She shared her dreams with her husband, Scott William Jameson, who she married on July 10, 2004.
Since a very young age, she felt called to serve God through missionary work in Africa. She and Scott had just been accepted as missionaries to Madagascar. Scott hopes to fulfill some of these dreams. While she had high aspirations, she was always happy with what she had and where she was. She loved being around people and entertaining, but was equally happy at home with her husband and cat, quilting, scrap booking, cooking, and listening to Frank Sinatra, Van Morrison, and worship music.
She was always certain that Christ died and rose again to give her eternal life in Heaven, and we know that is where she is now.
She was deeply loved by her husband, Scott William Jameson, of Mercer; her parents, Walter and Helen Beesley of Winthrop; her brother, Walter R. Beesley of Monmouth; her sisters, Rebecca Henry and her husband, Richard, of Winthrop, and Melissa Konieczka and her husband, Matthew, of Columbia, Mo.; her niece and nephew, Caitlyn and Ricky Henry of Winthrop; her paternal grandparents, Walter and Barbara Beesley of Westbrook; her step grandmother, JoEllen Carr, and her adoptive grandmother, Helen Bishop, both of Winthrop; her father and mother-in-law, Scott and Lisa Jameson, and her brother-in-law, Ryan Jameson, all of Windsor Locks, Conn.; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
