Guest speaker Cam Cain, left, of NET Sports Group is presented a copy of the Optimist Creed from L A Optimist Club President George Mathews. Cain spoke about NET’s recent donation of $100,000 worth of work to reconstruct the playground area at Washburn Elementary School. He also described ?how the artificial turf was installed and how they maintain some of their completed projects, such as the field at Gillette Stadium. They have done much work in the area, including fields at Bates and Colby colleges, the University of Maine, Husson University and local high schools.
