WILTON – Crystal M. Johnson, 66, of Wilton, died late Wednesday evening, Nov. 24, 2004 at her home, following a long illness.
Born in Fairfield, April 20, 1938, a daughter of William and Doris Sanborn Baxter, she attended Wilton schools, graduating from Wilton Academy.
Ms. Johnson worked at a filter manufacturing company in Monmouth, and later as a bookkeeper for New England Furniture in Farmington.
She enjoyed cooking, going out to eat, flower gardening, and going for rides to look at the scenery and animals.
She is survived by her mother, Doris Baxter of Farmington; longtime companion and life partner, Ray Chasse, of Wilton; a son, Dennis Farrington of Topsham; a brother, Philip Baxter and his wife, Lois, of Orrington; stepchildren, Leane Quint and her husband, Toby, of Lisbon, Kenneth Chasse of Lewiston, and Raymond Chasse; and grandchildren, Patrick Acord and his wife, Amber, of Bath, Shelby Acord of Richmond, and Audessy Chasse of Sabattus.
She was predeceased by her father, Bill Baxter; and her brother, Bill Baxter.
