OXFORD – Nicholas “Nick” Harrington Noble, 19, a resident of Tripp Lake Camp Road, Poland, died Monday evening, July 12, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Oxford.
He was born in Newton, N.J., July 20, 1984, the son of Stephen M. and Anne M. (Harrington) Noble. Most of his education was in the Poland school system, but he had attended Saint Dom’s High school in Lewiston for two years as well. He also had attended The Berklee College of Music in Boston.
He was an accomplished and talented musician. He was self-employed for most of his working career as a music promoter and as a past member of a heavy metal band known as “Barium” operating out of the Poland area.
Since his early teens he had dreamed of becoming a business owner and entrepreneur and had owned and operated a skate boarding company known as “Chamelon.” His interests and hobbies included music, being a guitarist, drummer and vocalist. He also enjoyed skateboarding, snowboarding, playing soccer at Poland schools and football with the Lewiston/Auburn Recreation Departments.
He had many friends and loved his family and spending time with them all very much. He had a special fondness and close relationship with his younger brother, Michael. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his parents, of Poland; one brother, Michael J. Noble, of Poland; paternal grandparents, Gerald and Mary Noble, of Wayne, N.J.; maternal grandfather, William F. Harrington, of Eliot; and several aunts, uncle and cousins.
He was recently predeceased by his grandmother, Grace Harrington.
