LEWISTON – Theresa C. Langlais, 73, a resident of Livermore, died Thursday, June 24, at CMMC where she had been a patient for 10 days.

She was born on Jan. 31, 1931, in Westbrook, the daughter of Arthur and Corinne Francour Canton and attended the Sanford schools.

On Oct. 8, 1949, she married Richard G. Langlais Sr. in Sanford. They made their home in Sanford for many years where she raised her large family and worked in the area shoe shops. She and her husband relocated to Livermore in 1987. Mr. Langlais passed away on March 19, 1995.

She is survived by five sons and four daughters, Alfie Langlais of Concord, N.H., Mark Langlais of Livermore Falls, Richard Langlais Jr. of Livermore, Normand Langlais Sr. and his wife Kelly of Newmarket, N.H., Anna and Elige Boswell of West Virginia, Janet and Dennis Brunelle of Milton, N.H., Laura and Alfred Tardif of Jay, Mary Lou Frank and her fiance, Jason Marchetti of Jay, and Robert Fortin and his wife Anita of Lebanon; 30 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lucille, Norma and Marcelle all of Arizona.
