1928 – 2004

LEWISTON – Glennice M. Lahey, 76, of Auburn, died March 12, at d’Youville Pavilion following a long illness.

Born in Norway, on Feb. 12, 1928, the daughter of Elmer and Clara (Mattor) Dean. She graduated from Oxford High School and CMVTI. She was employed as an LPN until her retirement in 1990.

She is survived by her husband, George Lahey of Auburn whom she married on June 16, 1972 in Auburn; two daughters, Mrs. Roger (Paula) James of Lewiston and Mrs. Denis (Leslie) Libby of Westford, Mass.; two sons, David MacDonald of Greene and Peter and his wife Mary of Auburn; one stepdaughter, Colleen Lahey of Casco; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Shirley Twitchell of South Paris; two brothers, Dalton Dean of Springfield, Ohio, and Rev. Albert Dean of Winnipeg, Manitoba.

She was predeceased by a granddaughter, Belinda James.
