BERLIN, N.H. – Yvonne I. Croteau, 97, passed away Thursday, March 11, at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital. She had resided at St Vincent De Paul Nursing Home.

She was born in Berlin, on Nov. 6, 1906, the daughter of Alfred and Marie (Lessard) Turcotte.

She was a member of St. Anne Parish, the Railroad Auxiliary, and the Ladies of St. Anne. She enjoyed

knitting, sewing, and cooking.

She is survived by a son, Robert and his wife Jeannette Croteau of Lewiston; a daughter, Jeannine Poirier of Berlin; four grandchildren, Ronald Poirier of Jackson, NH, Carol Spottiswood of Litchfield, Michael Poirier of Berlin, NH., and Bruce Croteau of South Paris; six great-grandchildren; a special longtime friend, Jeannette Blanchette; and nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Joseph Croteau in 1979; a son-in-law, Raymond Poirier June 2000; and a sister, Aline Payeur of Berlin.
