Danville Junction Grange to meet

AUBURN — Danville Junction Grange will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28.

Victoria Huff of the Maine State Grange Executive Committee and her installing team will install officers for the ensuing year, not only those of Danville Junction, but officers of New Norlands Grange and Androscoggin Grange.

A supper will be served at 6 p.m.

Members are reminded to bring clipped coupons for the troops and donations to PAL.

All members and guests are welcome.

Marine Corps League to meet

LEWISTON — Central Maine Detachment 810, Marine Corps League, will host its monthly meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28, at the Lewiston Armory, 65 Central Ave.

All Marines, FMF Corpsman and Navy Chaplains are invited. Anyone interested in Marines Helping Veterans is also invited to attend. Membership is needed.

New Auburn Seniors to meet

AUBURN — The New Auburn Senior Citizens will meet for a business meeting Monday, Oct. 2. The meeting and open bingo will begin at 11:30 a.m. Lunch will be served for $4. 

Membership dues for 2017 will be collected. Dues are expected to be paid on the first Monday of the month. Those who cannot pay at the meeting may send payment and a self-addressed stamped envelope to Helen Marsh, 32 Chris Ave., Sabattus, ME 04280.

The beef stew dinner will be served at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Oct. 16. Dinner tickets must be purchased at the first Monday meet prior to the dinner date in order to know meal counts.

All seniors 60 and older are welcome to attend Off-Monday Bingo on Mondays, Oct. 9, 23 and 30. 

All functions are held at Sacred Heart Church.
