1919 – 2004

AUBURN – Lucille M. Lachance, 85, formerly of 252 Meadowview Park, Lewiston, died Friday, Feb. 13, at Bolster Heights Residential Care Facility.

She was born in New Auburn, Jan. 1, 1919, the daughter of Pierre and Irma Thibault Morin. She was educated in Lewiston schools and prior to her retirement was employed as a fancy stitcher at Shapiro Bros., Clark and Dori Shoe companies.

She was a member of Ss. Peter & Paul Parish where she also was a choir member, beano worker and bean supper worker. She was also a member of Ste. Croix Seniors, Lewiston Senior Citizens, Horizon 55, Covenant 50 and Cercle St. Sacrement. She enjoyed flower gardening, crocheting and making arts and crafts.

She is survived by two brothers, Bertrand Morin, and Gerard R. Morin and his wife Pauline all of Lewiston; and 14 nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Raymond R. Lachance in 1999; and three brothers, Roland, Leo and Laurier Morin.
