1921 – 2004
LEWISTON – Elisabeth Wolf Grandmaison, 82, of 59 Louise Ave., Lewiston died peacefully at her residence Feb. 4, with her family by her side.
She was born in Darmstadt, Germany on Feb. 17, 1921, the daughter of Martin and Elisabetha (Allman) Wolf and had been a resident of this community since 1955.
She married Raymond H. Grandmaison on June 11, 1955 in Darmstadt, Germany and made her new home in the United States. She became a U.S. citizen on June 21, 1982.
She was employed as a CNA at Bolster Heights for 12 years.
Ms. Grandmaison enjoyed shopping and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson.
She will be sadly missed and always loved and remembered.
She is survived by one daughter, Heidi McAlister and her husband Lawrence of Wales; one son, Ricky Grandmaison of Lewiston; two grandchildren, Stephen M. Morin and his fiancée Jennifer A. Bisson of Lewiston and Angela M. Morin of Lewiston; one great-grandson, Alexander D. Morin of Lewiston.
She was predeceased by her son, Johnny Grandmaison; and her former husband, Raymond.
