In the past, Ben Chin running for office has held immense importance in my heart. He represents everything Mainers should be — accepting, willing and driven. He has handled media curveballs, sometimes making national headlines, while maintaining a bright spirit throughout everything.

My children seek role models in people similar to Chin, and his resilience and determination are what make him stay true to who he is. In the current political atmosphere, Chin is what the people need. He will create a sense of community cohesiveness and reliance, where the community can see him as someone to confide in.

Considering the current political environment, Lewiston needs someone to unite the community. Ben Chin is the perfect candidate to represent the variety of demographics in Lewiston.
