EXETER, N.H. – Robert H. “Bert” Berube, 75, of Ridge Road, Lisbon Falls, died Monday, Nov. 24, at Langley Place, after a long illness.
Born in Salem, Mass., March 8, 1928, the son of the late Henry and Corrine Berube, he was a graduate of Salem High School, Salem, Mass. He was married to the late Patricia M. Berube.
Mr. Berube was a World War II Naval veteran and was employed at Danvers Dodge, Danvers, Mass., as the parts manager until 1990.
After moving to Lisbon Falls in 1991, he joined the work force at Bodwell Motors then Hudson Bus Lines of Lewiston, retiring in 2001.
He enjoyed boating, camping, motorcycling and spending time with his family.
Survivors include a sister, Lucille Williams of South Salem, N.Y.; three sons, Dean R. of Stratham, N.H., Mark H. of Lisbon Falls and Michael K. of Wichita, Kansas; eight grandchildren, Nicole, Nadine and Monica Berube of Lisbon Falls, Kelly, Marshall and Casey Berube of Wichita, Kansas and Chelsea and Tucker Berube of Stratham, N.H.; and two great-grandchildren, Brittany Norman and Caleb Berube of Lisbon Falls.
