1921 – 2003

FARMINGTON – Clarice L. Jellison, 82, of Wilton died Saturday, Nov. 8, at the Franklin Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 23, 1921, in Vienna, a daughter of the late Charles D. and Celia E. (Whittier) Bean.

She attended school in Wilton. On March 1, 1939 she married James J. Jellison in Livermore Falls. She was a member of the Wilton Day Extension and the Up Country Artist and Franklin County Artists.

She was an avid fisherman, a snowmobiler, a great artist, creative in arts & crafts and loved gardening. Her flowers in her front yard caught the eye of many passing by and her green thumb grew Gloxinias and African Violets that were the envy of many. She enjoyed spending time at the camp on Locke Pond in North Chesterville.

Mrs. Jellison is survived by two sons, Bruce Jellison and his wife Linda of Wilton, Brent W. Jelllison and his wife Ella of Vienna; three grandsons, Jim “Greg” Jellison and his fiancé Rachel Merril and her daughter Sarah of Dixfield, Lee Jellison and his wife Kim of Norridgewock, Shawn Jellison of Florida.

In addition to her husband of over 59 years who died Dec. 18, 1998, she was predeceased by two brothers, Richard and Robert Beane.
