1914 – 2003
LEWISTON – Louis G. Boutin, 89, of Clover Manor, Auburn, died Saturday, Oct. 4, 2003, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.
Born in Lewiston, June 21, 1914, a son of Didace and Catherine Bilodeau Boutin, he was educated in Lewiston schools.
He first worked for several years in local shoe shops, then spent many years as a local carpenter and builder, prior to his retirement.
Mr. Boutin was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Parish and the Society of St. Peter’s.
He leaves a daughter, Mona Strout and her husband, Rodney, of Lewiston; three grandchildren, Diane Emond, Danny Emond and Dorene Ebner; one great-granddaughter, Crystal Dyer; two great great-grandsons, Austin and Andrew Dyer; one sister, Marie Jeanne Lamonde of Quebec; and one brother, Jean Boutin of Sabattus.
