LEWISTON — Jean Guy Vincent, 77, of Lewiston, died Sunday, Oct. 1, at d’Youville Pavilion in Lewiston. He was born in Lewiston on May 26, 1940, the son of Dominique and Cecile Landry Vincent. He graduated from St. Louis Parochial School and Lewiston High School. He belonged to various social clubs and was a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. He worked at the Bates Mill for 27 years and then worked several years in the culinary department of Bates College.
He is survived by a sister, Jeannine Cyr; a brother, Gerald and his spouse, Diane; five nieces, Patricia and spouse, Daniel Langlais, Cathleen and spouse, Dean Paquette, Janet Cyr and spouse, Caroline Cote, Jeanne Cyr and spouse, Marie Lemieux and Susan and spouse, Matt Callahan; one nephew, Daniel Cyr and spouse, Steve Bissonette; two great-nieces; four great-nephews; seven great-great-nieces; and two great-great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and his brother-in-law, Edward Cyr.
