1930 – 2003
LEESBURG, Fla. – Herbert M. Page Jr., 72, died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2002, after a “heck” of a fight with pancreatic cancer.
“Herbie” was born in 1930 in Lewiston, he was a winter resident of Leesburg, Fla. since 1996. He was retired systems analyst for the State of Maine, a captain in the Marine Corps and a ranger at Miona Golf and Country Club in Wildwood, Fla.
He was a member of Elks Lodge 371, the VFW and the Moose.
Survivors include his wife, Hermance (Tiny) Page of Lewiston and Leesburg, Fla.; a daughter, Kathleen O’Connell Jackson and granddaughter, Erin of Lewiston; sisters, Elizabeth Fleury of Gainsville, Fla., and Beverly Mastroianni of Milford, Mass.; and a brother, Stanley Page of Cumberland.
