LEWISTON – William N. Blaisdell, 67, a resident of 30 Cedarwood Road, Auburn,died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, July 7, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center.

He was born in Lewiston, May 5, 1937, the son of Laucker and Hazel (Newell) Blaisdell. He attended Auburn schools, and was a 1955 graduate of Edward Little High School. He furthered his education at Bentley College in Boston graduating in 1959. Following college he was employed as a public accountant in local accounting firms, and became a self-employed public accountant.

Mr. Blaisdell was an avid Red Sox fan, who also enjoyed going to the ocean, and also enjoyed playing cards. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, and his faithful dog, “Abby.”

Survivors include his wife, the former, Julia Bunker of Auburn; two daughters, Barbara S. Blaisdell and her husband, David Hendren of Randolph, and Judy Lynn Blaisdell of Auburn; one brother, Robert Blaisdell of Wells; one sister, Mrs. Harriet Peterson of Houston, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by one brother, Richard Blaisdell.
