PORTLAND – Marcella T. Cloutier, 75, of 2 Upper Drive, Lisbon Falls, a former resident of Bridge Street, Topsham, died Wednesday, April 21, at Maine Medical Center, Portland.
Born in Brunswick, Dec. 15, 1928, a daughter of Everett and Clara Saucier Jacques, she attended Topsham schools.
She was married to Romeo M. Cloutier and they lived several places during his military career. They lived in Southington, Conn. for many years before moving back to Maine in 1976. Mr. Cloutier died in May 1997.
Mrs. Cloutier was employed as a nurse’s aid and did private care. She was a member of the Daughters of Isabella and a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church, Brunswick. She enjoyed singing and was a member of the church choir. She enjoyed her bingo playing, the company of her friends, but most of all, her greatest pleasure was being in the company of her family.
Survivors include a daughter, Theresa White and her husband Rodney of White River Junction, Vt.; three sons, Michel D. Cloutier of Scarborough, Reginald Cloutier and his wife Leigh Dawn of Turner, and Jerome J. Cloutier of Topsham; four sisters, Geraldine Marie Roberts of South Portland, Priscilla Ann Hart of Southington, Conn., Mary (Bonnie) Boucher of Brunswick, and Laura Louise Pacholski of Canton, Conn.; two brothers, Raymond R. Jacques of Lebanon, Conn., and Donald F. Jacques of Bath; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a sister, Joanne Roberts.
