JAY – A Celebration of Life was held Wednesday, Aug. 25, with full military honors for Lewis H. Ridley at the Lane-Dube Amvets Post 33 in Jay. Eulogy was given by Donald LeSuer. Military units were under the direction of Richard Therrien and were represented by the VFW, Post 3335, the Lane-Dube Amvets, Post 33 of Jay, the American Legion, Post 10 of Livermore Falls and the Sons of Amvets of Jay. Firing Squad members were Richard Dupont, Joe Groomes, David O. Smith, Bob Welch, Raoul LaPlante, Dick Moreau, Roland Giguere and Neree Simoneau. Honor Guard members were Eugene Pomerleau, AF, Larry Brochu, Palmer Hebert, Francis Therrien, Wayne Parker, Shane Gray and Mike Horn. Also participating were Bryan Hennessy, Harvey Sabin, Julien Dupont, Luther Perry and VFW Auxiliary. Taps were played by Andrew Moreau. Flag was presented to the family by Don LeSuer and Richard Therrien. Arrangements by Finley Funeral Home, Livermore Falls.
