BRIGHAM CITY, Utah – Laura Hawkins Brown, 86, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 14, in Utah.
She was born in Belgrade, on March 20, 1918, the daughter of Fraser Calvin and Frances Alta (Fowler) Hawkins.
She married Lawrence Donald Robinson and they were later divorced. She married Marshall William Brown on March 11, 1945, in Monmouth.
She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church). She held various positions in the Relief Society throughout her life.
She is survived two daughters, Judith Elaine Perry (Russell), of Taylorsville, Utah, Nonda Christie Sheffield (Dennis) of Brigham City, Utah; two brothers, Raymond Hawkins, David Hawkins; three sisters, Elaine Spencer, Joan Esman, Patricia Morrissette; two sister-in-laws, Beatrice Hawkins and Lucille Hawkins; she raised one granddaughter, Kimberly Ann Rader Allen; seven other grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was predeceased by her husband, Marshall William Brown on June 23, 1979; her daughter, Barbara Eulalia Rader; one grandson, Paul V. Sheffield; one granddaughter, Lisa Perry Carpenter; two brothers, Norman and Wilbur Hawkins; and one sister, Dorothy B. Jewell Bendler.
