WALDOBORO – Albert Stanley Wills, 90, passed away Sunday, Oct. 3, at his home in Waldoboro.

Albert was born on Jan. 24, 1914 in Oxford, the son of Albert and Addie Pike Willis.

He attended school in Oxford. He was employed as a fireman in the woolen mills, Maine Central Railroad and worked as a pipe fitter for B.I.W.

He enjoyed railroading and gardening.

He was a member of the Advent Christian Church in Bridgton.

He is survived by his daughters, Barbara Jean Herrick, and her husband, Arthur, of Groveland, Mass., Marilyn Ann Dever, of Waldoboro; sons, Ronald Erwin Wills, and his wife, Constance, of Woolwich, Harold Albert Wills, and his wife, Shirley, of Greene; grandchildren, Kenneth Allen and Joyce Ellen Wills, of Bath, Debra Delene Bellamy of Derry, N.H., Glen Russell Dever, of Waldoboro, Patricia Ann Nickerson, of South Berwick, Alan Richard and Paul Anthony Dever, of Waldoboro, Lorna Elaine Dorland, of Berwyn Heights, Md., Cathy Ann Wills, of Augusta, Daniel Richard Wills, of Goffstown, N.H., John Jeffrey Wills, of Hillsboro, N.H., Christine Louise Snuth, of Tampa, Fla. and North Carolina, and Amy Lee Berebeau; step-grandchildren, Roger, III and Wilfred Dever, of Waldoboro, Brenda Baird, of Friendship; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his son, Clyde Stanley Wills, in 1959; son-in-law, Roger J. Dever, Jr.; grandson, Michael T. Dever; daughter-in-law, Susan Wills, deceased wife of Harold Wills; and great-granddaughter, Miranda Hope Dever.
