YORK – Bruce O. Burbank, 59, a resident of Littlefield Road in Wells, passed away Sept. 8, at York Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born on Dec. 16, 1946, in Livermore Falls the son of Orie and Jean (Partridge) Burbank. He worked as a shift test director at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, retiring in 1995, and for the Molly Corp. in Ogunquit as a trolley driver and as manager for several years.
In April of this year he retired from Mark O’Brien Construction Co., where he had been a truck driver. He also worked for the Ogunquit Police Department and was a volunteer for the Ogunquit Fire Department. He was a member of the York Fire Department and the Oriental Star Lodge 21 AF & AM of Livermore Falls.
He is survived by his wife, Aldine (Spinney) Burbank of Wells; his mother, Jean Burbank; a son, Bruce V. Burbank; a daughter, Gloria Moulton; three sisters, Dianne Hathorne, Cheryl Pomerleau and Cynthia Hatfield; four grandchildren, Garrett Moulton, Tyler, Jason and Ryan Burbank.
