BIDDEFORD – Ludger Vallee, 95, a resident of Oceanside Drive, Saco, and formerly of Lewiston, passed away on Sept. 2, at Southridge Living Center.
He was born on May 20, 1911, in St. Ludger, Canada, the son of Napoleon and Josephine Drouin Vallee.
He was a foreman and superintendent in the shoe industry, where he was employed throughout his life. He enjoyed fishing, bowling and playing cards.
He is survived by his son, Raymond L. Vallee Sr. and his wife, Suzanne, of Saco; five grandchildren, Raymond L. Vallee Jr., Anne Tortorella and Thomas, Christopher and Timothy Vallee; eight great-grandchildren, Ray III, Michael, Alyssa, TJ, Jacqueline, Christopher, Natalie and Caroline; several nieces and nephews; and his former wife, Irene Madore.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Gertrude Renaud Vallee in 1990; and several brothers and sisters.
