ANDERSON, S.C. – Henry Doiron, 88, of Anderson, S.C., died Saturday, Sept. 2.

Born in New Brunswick, Canada, he was the son of the late Placide and Marie Doiron.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and later worked in the steel industry.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Doiron; four children, Constance Mirick of Princeton, Mass., Jeannine Holmes of Williamston, S.C., Leonard Doiron of Austin, Texas and Sheila Doiron of Worcester, Mass.; two sisters, Joanne Knapp and Kay Larochelle, both of Jay; one brother, Patrick Doiron of Brunswick; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
