LEWISTON – Dorothy Walker, 80, of Bradman Street, Auburn, passed away Monday, Aug. 14, at d’Youville Pavilion after a long illness.

She was born Dorothy Elliot in Mount Vernon on April 2, 1926. She was educated in the Pittsfield school system.

She married Bernell Walker on June 24, 1950, and he died in 1991.

She was a longtime member of the East Auburn Baptist Church.

She spent most of her adult life working as a waitress in restaurants in the Lewiston/Auburn area.

She enjoyed taking family trips, knitting and playing cards.

She will be greatly missed by her three sons, David of Tiffin, Ohio, Dennis of Bowdoin and Steven of Auburn; her sister, Beverly Morrison and her husband, Lloyd, of Pittsfield; and five grandchildren, Joshua, Nicholas, Jessica, Erika and Daniel.
