AUBURN – Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 8, for Homer W. Houston Jr. at Dillingham & Sons Memorial Chapel, 62 Spring Street in Auburn. Officiating was the Rev. Donald Mayberry. Poems were read by Beverly Winchenbach, Amy Gurschick and Ryan Brown. Carl Legere played the harmonica. The Naval Contingent, from Brunswick Naval Air Station presented the flag. Firing Squad members, John Dube, Richard Moreau and Richard Dupont represented the VFW, and Frank L. Mitchell, represented Post 3335 of Jay. Interment at Gracelawn Memorial Cemetery in Auburn. Arrangements by Finley Funeral Home 15 Church St., Livermore Falls.
