MONMOUTH – Funeral services were held Friday afternoon for Edwina M. Stevens at Bragdon-Finley Funeral Home, Monmouth. The Rev. Harold Hilton from the Nazarene Church of Leeds officiated at the service.
Granddaughter Brenda Deprey read the poem “She Will Carry On” and the “Alphabet Game”; granddaughter Julie Hamner read the poem “Let Go and Let God”; granddaughter Megan Von Rump read the first two verses of “Amazing Grace” and the Devotional; and Sue Hilton shared special memories of Mrs. Stevens.
Special music played was “In the Garden,” “Old Rugged Cross” and “She’ll be Coming Round the Mountain.” Family and friends sang “Amazing Grace.” At the cemetery, Tim Thompson played “In the Garden” on the trombone. Interment was at Leeds Plains Cemetery.
